■Details
This is a workbench used for engine disassembly and assembly work.
This is a replica model of the workbench that SP Takegawa's mechanics have been using for a long time for engine disassembly and assembly work.
Even now, many complete engines are assembled on this workbench.
Workbench body is made of wood
By using wood, it reduces the weight and the damage when interfering with engine parts.
Durable rubber protectors are used
The upper part of the workbench is equipped with a rubber protector which is resistant to engine oil and gasoline, and prevents engine parts such as the crankcase from slipping during work, thus preventing scratches and damage to the parts.
The rubber protector is not only on the top surface but also in L-shape to prevent the parts from being scratched inside the workbench and to fix the engine firmly.
You can also purchase the rubber protector for repair parts only (Part No:
00-08-0004) and attach it to the back of the workbench to prevent the workbench from slipping. It is also possible to use it as a slide stopper of the workbench itself.
The rubber protector has SP Takegawa logo on it.
Compatible with both horizontal and vertical engines
It can be used for both horizontal engines such as Monkey, Super Cub, CD50, KSR110 and vertical engines such as Ape50 / 100, NSF100, CB50.
In addition, since the horizontal engine can be operated in the upright position, the engine body can be stabilized and the assembly of the piston to the cylinder and the cylinder head can be performed relatively easily.
The vertical engine can be fixed firmly, and the work can be done in a stable condition.
Simple design that can be used in any way
A simple box shape is adopted for flexibility. The surface of the wood is unpainted so that you can enjoy painting and processing by yourself.
It can be used to stock racing engines in the pit or to display customized engines.
It can be used with a workbench with a vice function to further improve workability.
