About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the gear shift spindle oil seal from K-Pit, the outer diameter of the oil seal is a hard plastic while the inner diameter of the oil seal is a soft rubber.About the feeling of use: Over time an oil leak developed on the lower surface of the engine and this gear shift spindle oil seal resolved that problem.Products to buy together: The counter shaft oil seal from K-Pit would also be desirable to purchase along side this gear shift spindle oil seal as they are ideal to replace together when reassembling the engine.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 minutes, remove the gear shift linkage and then pry out the old oil seal. Position the new oil seal and press it into the case. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality part from K-Pit and it was in stock and ready to ship unlike the Honda oil seal but the pricing between the brands is almost identical.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Although I thought to exchange the OEM Parts Number by replacing the Oil seal of CT110, I understood that it can be used as an alternative and purchased OIT seal made by KITACO. I was able to install it safely.
