Super Multi DN měřič

Arrived straight from Japan in a matter of days to Belgium, Europe. I wanted RPM and gear view, which is unavailable on stock meter. Meter visibility is great also in rain or sunny weather. Install was easy on my JB03 2022 Monkey but I suggest to follow a video on Youtube to be sure. Setting up the menu can seem intimidating at first but is actually really intuitive with just one button (small press and long press have different functions). The manual came in Japanese but I quickly found an English pdf on Google. Speedometer can be adjusted with a formula (see manual) to make up for sprockets changes or tire size changes. If you also have a JB03 2022 with stock tires and sprockets (14Tx37T), you will need to adjust because the Takegawa multimeter is calibrated for the sprocket count of the JB02 (15Tx34T). So instead of 100% I ended up with 092% being the most accurate. Just try and mount your phone with a GPS app to compare. You will need the meter to 'learn' the gears by going up a gear when the meter tells you (check the manual). I did 1500km with the Super Multi DN meter on my Monkey and no problems.

About quality and texture - The super multi DN meter from SP Takegawa is mounted within a plastic housing with a stainless steel bezel and utilizes LED lighting for the backlight and indicators, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I have been using a tachometer with the original meter for quite a few years now which is fine but the features of the super multi DN meter just blow if out of the water, it can even correct the speed for changes in tyre and sprocket sizes.Products to buy together - If you wish to complement all the information the supermulti DN meter can display then a key product to purchase would be a thermometer that takes it's reading from the EOT sensor.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the super multi DN meter is an intermediate task that took 2 hours to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the meter to the top triple clamp and tap into the original wiring harness in a fewl location followed by the setting up process.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the super multi DN meter is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the super multi DN meter, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. I sold my opmid to purchase the takegawa. I wish I wouldn't have. The takegawa is constantly changing settings on its own. It worked fine for the first 2 months it was installed then all the sudden I have to program it every time I ride my honda monkey. Super dissatisfied with this product.

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the super multi DN meter from SP Takegawa. Housing is made from plastic with a stainless steel edging as opposed to chrome on the OEM Honda meter and the display is a mix of analog and digital as opposed to just digital on the OEM Honda meter.About the feeling of use: This instrument gauge has every thing you could possibly want to display your Monkey 125 and I much prefer the look of the analog tachometer displayed when the motorcycle is turned off.Products to buy together: A SP Takegawa oil drain bolt would also be desirable to purchase alongside the super multi DN meter so you can display the engine oil temperature on the digital part of the display.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 2 hours to install and setup. Remove the headlight and OEM Honda meter then position the switching wire, temperature wire and tachometer wire. Install the meter bracket followed by the meter and connect up all the wiring to the meter. Now follow the instructions on how to setup the meter. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting one hell of a instrument gauge that is able to display everything you could want on the Monkey 125 but the price is high as compared to the previous tachometer I was using from SP Takegawa that did a fantastic job but is missing a few features.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Like I have said multiple times this is one hell of a instrument gauge but if you have unlimited funds then you will want to purchase the super multi TFT meter from SP Takegawa that has a coloured digital display.
