The air cleaner housings is made from very durable plastic while one air cleaner element is made from a course sponge for race use and the other from a fine sponge for street use.About the feeling of use: Very happy to have an increase in performance while being able to maintain the same level of intake noise as the OEM Honda setup.Products to buy together: A full exhaust system would also be desirable to purchase alongside the air cleaner and air cleaner element to maximise the performance from the Grom.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 20 minutes, remove and set aside the OEM Honda screws and after fitting the air cleaner use the included screws to secure the thicker air cleaner housing.
